Anthony Wayne Burton

Mr. Anthony Wayne Burton, age 38 of Wellford, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.

He was born on February 10, 1986 in Spartanburg to Pamela Burton and the late Bobby Burton. He was a sales representative for Medals of America and loved hiking, being outdoors, caring for animals, movies, music, and was a huge Clemson fan. He was also a “people person” and never met a stranger. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Sonya Burton and Jessica Burton.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving mother, Pamela Elaine Burton; his grandparents, Wayne and Nancy Weathers; his biological siblings, Heather Kennedy, Jason Burton, and Ashley Burton; his siblings adopted in love, his aunts and uncles, several nieces and nephews, and his fellowship of friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 2:30pm until 3:00pm at Vineyard Church of God, 251 South Blackstock Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301.

A Celebration of Life Service will follow the receiving of friends on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 3:00pm at the church.
