August “Larry” Yapell Obituary

Mr. August “Larry” Lawrence Yapell, age 87 of Easley, passed away in the early morning hours on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

He was born on July 10, 1938 in Ilion, NY to the late August and Helen Yapell. He had been an engineer for most of his life.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Tina Marie Szefler; and his caregiver and special friend, Karen Henderson.

Mr. Yapell will be cremated and no formal funeral service will be held.
