Billy Ray Brewington

Mr. Billy Ray Brewington, age 62 of Spartanburg, passed away in the early morning hours on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home following an extended illness.

He was born on October 3, 1962 in Spartanburg to the late Kenneth and Virginia Virl Horton Brewington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Wayne Brewington; and his sister, Virginia Mae Spakes. He had worked in construction for most of his life.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Shirley Brewington; his daughter, Amber Hill; and his two sisters, Shelby B. Purvis (William) and Sheila B. Hamrick.

Mr. Brewington will be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 2:00pm at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Church, 115 South Florida Ave., Chesnee, SC 29323 with Pastor Ken Towery to officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
