Charles "Buzzy" Buster Wright

Mr. Charles "Buzzy" Buster Wright, age 83 of Lyman, passed away on Monday evening, July 29, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

He was born on January 25, 1941 in New York City to the late Joseph Quarrles and Irene Ferguson. He had worked as a Deep Sea Fishing Captain for most of his life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Charlotte Johnson and Marie Randall; and three brothers, Joseph Wright, Jr., Ramon Wright, and James “Jimmy” Wright.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Charlene Wright-Peoples (Harold); two sisters, Peggy Barnes and Gene Caldwell; and two brothers, Rudolf Wright, and David Wright; thirteen grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Wright will be cremated and no formal funeral services will be held.
