Mrs. Dawn M. Wardat, age 55 of Boiling Springs, passed away on Thursday evening, August 28, 2025 at her residence.
Born on October 28, 1969, at Bi-County Hospital in Warren, Michigan, Dawn was the beloved daughter of the late Richard and the late Laura (nee Hayes) Chumbler. She grew up in Fraser, Michigan, graduating from Fraser High School in 1988. Dawn lived in the area until 2012, when she relocated to South Carolina so her children could be closer to their father.
Dawn was the proud mother of Brandon Chumbler (Tracy Archambeau), Joseph (Nisreen) Wardat, Jacob Wardat, Hanah Wardat and Matt (Alexis) Ahlbaum. She was the cherished grandmother of Brooklyn Chumbler, Chloe Chumbler, Avery Seymore, Levi Seymore, Jackson Ahlbaum and Addy Ahlbaum. She will also be deeply missed by her siblings Steve Chumbler, Scott (Barb) Chumbler, Jason (Nikki) Chumbler and Amy (Ken) Alderton. In her final month, she was faithfully cared for and lovingly accompanied by her best friends, Kathy and Angela, who never left her side.
A devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Dawn will be remembered for her love of family and her hard work. Her caring nature and dedication to her loved ones will remain a lasting legacy in the hearts of those who knew her.
Dawn’s memory will forever live on through her family and all who were blessed to share in her life.
A private graveside service will be held at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
