Deanna Marie Poff Kirby

Mrs. Deanna Marie Poff Kirby, age 57 of Piedmont, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday afternoon, May 22, 2025.

She was born on July 11, 1967 in Roanoke, Virginia to the late Martin C. and Irma Irene Spicer Poff. She was a medical coder. Mrs. Kirby's light of her life were her three grandchildren who lovingly called her "Mimzie." She also loved to go shopping and helping others in their time of need. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Magnolia Rogers and her brother, Mark Poff.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Leah Rogers (Ashley); her son, Bryce Kirby (Adrienne); her sister, Deborah Waldrop (Mike); two grandchildren, Malcolm Kirby and Lawson Rogers; her sister-in-law, Candy Poff; and her special great-nephew, London “Moose” Poff.

It was Mrs. Kirby’s wishes to be cremated and no formal services be held.

At other times, the family will receive friends and flowers at the home of her daughter, Leah Rogers.
