Dorothy Margurite Mormando, age 60 of Spartanburg, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023.

She was born on October 17,1962 in Toms River, New Jersey to the late Nicholas C. and Maryann L. McNeil Mormando. She was raised in Beach Haven, New Jersey and moved to Spartanburg in 2001.

She was preceded in death by her parents and boyfriend of 10 years, Vernon Haynes who passed on August 20, 2022; several aunts, uncles, and one niece, Angela.

She is survived by her brother Anthony (Michele) Mormando of Boiling Springs, SC, a sister Joanne Matech of Waretown, New Jersey, her nieces and nephews, Nicole ( Jason ) Burgess, Brian ( Courtney) Mormando, Claire Mormando, Theresa (Steve) Bodzak, Christopher Matech, Damien Matech, one uncle, Alfred Mormando, and several cousins

The burial will be private.
