Douglas Michael Cooper

Mr. Douglas Michael Cooper, age 61 of Chesnee, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

He was born on July 25, 1963 in Chesnee to the late Jimmy James and Nettie Wheeler Cooper. He was a helicopter landing pad fabricator. He was preceded in death by his wife, Samantha Pressley; and a brother, James Cooper. He loved to shoot pool, the outdoors, the American Flag and Eagles. He was a handyman and an overall great person that you could rely on and that you could count on.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Amanda Stephens (Armando); his sister, Beatrice Harris; two brothers, Mark Jackson (Erica) and Tony Jackson (Doris); and five grandchildren, Elizibeth, Alyssa, A.J., Leland, and Kash Garcia.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 2:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with his daughter, Amanda Stephens to eulogize.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
