Dr. Shaukat Hayat

Dr. Shaukat Hayat, age 78 of Boiling Springs, passed away in the early morning hours on Friday, May 30, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

He was born on August 4, 1946 in Lahore, Pakistan to the late Hakim and Sultana Hayat. Shaukat was a proud neurosurgeon who had a passion for medicine, golf, and caring for his family. He enjoyed real estate, traveling, and handy work. He had a smile that lit up a room and an unmatchable sense of humor. His most valuable memories were those with his grandsons, and those on the golf course with his friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 40 years, Donna Hayat; his two loving sons, Joshua Hayat (Kalee Lasher) and Jeffery Hayat (Kayley Fishel-Hayat) and his grandchildren, Nakiyah, Brysen, Chase, Nicholas, and Maddox.

It was Dr. Hayat’s wishes to be cremated and a memorial service be held at a later date.
