James Corn Obituary

James Rodney Corn, age 71 of Spartanburg, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023.

He was born on January 21, 1952 in Spartanburg, S.C. to the late James Leroy and Mamie Scruggs Corn. He was a retired machinist and loved all things outdoors, from bass fishing to deer and turkey hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patrice Ann McGuigan Corn, two children, Jenny Anne Waltman (Robert) and Micah Rodney Corn (Debra); sisters Bonnie Eubanks and Betty Sparks, a brother, Lamar Corn, and five grandchildren, Ethan Waltman, Chloe Waltman, Isaac Waltman, Caitlin Corn, and Emily Corn.

Private graveside service and interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park.
