John William Greene

Mr. John William Greene, age 50 of Boiling Springs, passed away unexpectedly on April 16, 2026.

He was born on March 26, 1976 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Dorean Splawn. He had been a maintenance technician for Concept Packaging.

Those left to cherish his memory include his two brothers, Ted and Ned Nichols; his loving fiancé Jill Barsody and her two grandsons, River Barsody and Hendrix Marcadis; his godparents, Alan and Lisa Brewer; and his beloved pet cat, “Blessing.”

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday afternoon, May 2, 2026 at 2:00pm at Church 247, 316 Pathway Court, Spartanburg, SC 29307, with Pastor Clayton Houchins to officiate. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
