Mrs. Kathy Marie Holland, age 52 of Spartanburg, passed away on Thursday evening, March 12, 2026 at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born on June 22, 1973 in Gaston County, NC to the late Kenneth and Elizabeth Ferguson Humphries. She was a quality inspector for Tietex Industries. Kathy was a kind and loving person that always went out of her way to help other people. She enjoyed reading books, listening to music, and going to concerts. She loved to vacation at the beach and taking trips to the mountains. Her and her husband, Kelvin, would go out on the lake in their boat to do some fishing and to get a tan. She liked to ride her motocycle and take the scenic route and enjoy the scenery. She loved her daughter-in-law and her granddaughter and tried to spend as much time with them as possible. She loved her dog Kobe and spending time playing with him.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Kelvin Holland; sister-in-law, Teresa Arrowood; daughter-in-law, Kasi Holland; granddaughter, Kinsley Jansen; two sisters, Shelia Pearson (Torrence) and Rita Yelton; three brothers, Roger Hoyle (Deb), Jeff Hoyle, and Kenneth Humphries; nieces, Jamie Lee, Cindy Keever, Heather Collins, Amanda Hoyle, and Brandy Taylor; nephews, Stoney Pearson, Charles Hoyle, Stanley Hoyle, Ricky Jackson, and Charlie Hoyle Murray.
