Lawanda Evette Cothran Foster

Mrs. Lawanda Evette Cothran Foster, age 67 of Spartanburg, passed away on Friday morning, May 23, 2025 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital.

She was born on September 10, 1957 in Charleston, SC to the late Weldon Donald and Eloise Brown Cothran. She had been an office manager. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Heather DonEl Whitt.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Casey LeeAnn Whitt; her sister, Penny Caldwell; her brother Donald Cothran (Elisa); her granddaughter, Camree Evette Earnhart; and many nieces and nephews including Shannon and Shane Caldwell who lovingly referred to Lawanda as "Nana."

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 2:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home Chapel of Boiling Springs with Mr. Donald Cothran to officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
