Ms. Mariam Denise Schmidt, age 60 of Woodruff, passed away on Saturday evening, July 4, 2026 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
She was born on July 12, 1965 in Illinois to the late Bob Wade and Billie Virginia Carter. She had been a police officer for most of her life.
Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Damien and Alexander Schmidt.
Ms. Schmidt will be cremated and no formal service will be held.
Roberts Funeral Home of Spartanburg is serving the Schmidt family.
