Mr. Melville "Mel" Richard, Jr. age 100 of Gray Court, passed away on Monday morning, October 13, 2025 at his residence.

He was born on September 7, 1925 in Chicago, IL to the late Melville Edward Kimmel, Sr. and Ellen Elizabeth Tressider. He had been a logger for Pottala Logging in Idaho for a number of years.

It was Mr. Kimmel's wish to be cremated and that no formal services would be held.

Roberts Funeral Home of Boiling Springs is serving the Kimmel family.
