Michael Scott Roberts

Mr. Michael Scott Roberts, age 54 of Mountain City, TN passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday evening, January 28, 2025 at Johnson County Community Hospital.

He was born on September 19, 1970 in Boone, NC to the late James Earl Roberts and Doris Jean Pardue Roberts. He had worked in the service industry for most of his life and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ed and Opal Crowder Pardue; his paternal grandparents, William Earl and Mabel Horne Roberts; his sister, Margaret Roark; his aunts, Anne Bailey and Lola Little; and his uncles, Don Roberts, and Ernest Roberts.

Those left to cherish his memory are two brothers, Johnny W. Roberts and Christopher Roberts and wife Tammey; two nephews; one niece; several cousins; and his significant other, Kathy Johnson.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at Evergreen Baptist Church in Trade, TN.

Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Evergreen Baptist Church with Pastor Tony Potter to officiate. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.

Graveside service and interment will be held following the funeral service at Rainbow Cemetery in Mountain City, TN.

At other times, the family will be receiving friends at the home of a brother, Christopher Roberts, 202 Parsons Eller Private Drive, Mountain City, TN 37683.
