Mr. Nicholas John Leduc, age 40 of Inman, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, January 7, 2025 at his residence.
He was born on November 1, 1984 in Worcester, Massachusetts. He was a machinist and was a member of the United Soccer Group of Spartanburg and Hub City Disc Golf.
Mr. Leduc will be cremated and no formal services will be held.
The following obituary was composed by Mr. Leduc and are his own words:
I lived in Central Massachusetts for the first 35 years of my life. I went to Bay Path Vocational High School, graduating from the machine shop technology program in 2002. I was a machinist for most of my adult life.
I enjoyed working with my hands, fixing things, woodworking, watching hockey, traveling, road trips, disc golf, being outdoors, hiking, seeing beauty in nature, saving turtles, riding motorcycles, helping people, meeting new people, and talking with strangers. I loved making people laugh. I loved spending time with my family. I loved coaching youth soccer for the past 4 years. Being a coach brought me much joy in life. I had the luxury of being a stay at home father for 4 years. Those were the best years of my life.
I leave behind 4 children. Bruin (8), Harleigh (9), Jenna (18), Keith (20). I will miss them all dearly. I also leave behind my loving and caring wife. She was my best friend and twin flame for 12 years.
Please remember me for the good that I did, and the joy I tried spreading. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Project R.E.S.T., which is a domestic abuse treatment center, or Break the Silence, which helps to break the stigma surrounding mental illness and reduce suicide rates.
