Mr. Richard Bruce Kerr, Jr., age 57 of Inman, passed away on Sunday morning, November 16, 2025 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born on May 20, 1968 in Jonesville, SC to Richard Bruce Kerr, Sr. and the late Rozalyn Smith Kerr. He was a dedicated electrician for most of his life and carried a deep love for his hometown throughout his life. He loved the simple joys of life: fishing, watching Alabama football (roll Tide), and spending time with his grandchildren.
Richard was a comedian, story teller, and friend to everyone he met. Those who knew him will forever remember his humor, big heart, and the love he showed for those who he cared about.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Angela Kerr; his three children, Courtney Lee, Richard Cody Kerr (Kayla), and E. Kerr (Heather); five grandchildren, Chloe Cano, Lilly Provo, Cooper Upton, Hayes Kerr, and Preslee Kerr; three sisters, Paula Lancaster (Charlie Brown), Jennifer Johnson (Donnie), and Ericka Richard (Max); and his brother, Waylon Kerr. He also leaves behind his best friends and chosen brothers, Greg Sanford, Johnny Farr, “Tiny,” Jerry Owens, Bruce Patton, and Randall Bryant; and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 11:00am until 2:00pm at the home, 84 Blackstock Road, Inman, SC 29349.
