Robert "Bob" Lawrence Knodel

Mr. Robert “Bob” Lawrence Knodel, age 62 of Spartanburg, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

He was born on November 6, 1960 in Denver, Colorado to the late Robert Lester and Marcelline Oliver Knodel. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and enjoyed doing research and Physics. He graduated from Green Mountain High School in Lakewood, Colorado and also graduated technology college where he obtained his associates degree. He was a Microsoft certified engineer and also a certified engineer for Novell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Ryan Michael Knodel and his sister, Candi Davidson Knodel.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Camille “Cami” Knodel and their son, Jaren Michael Knodel; two sisters, Cynthia Knodel and Cherrie Fallis; two children, Brandon Michael Knodel, Katie Lynne Pinedo (Jonathan); six grandchildren, Anthony, Katherine, Emily, Brooklynne, Nikkolas, and Madalynne Pinedo; numerous other special and close friends also survive.

A memorial "get together" will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 9am to 9pm with a memorial service being conducted from 12:00pm until 4:00pm at Herdklotz Park (126 Beverly Road, Greenville, SC 29609.) All are invited to attend. Additionally, an online YouTube memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 16, 2023 beginning at 3:00pm.
