Robert "Bobby" Boyd Johnson

Mr. Robert “Bobby” Boyd Johnson, age 63 of Spartanburg, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 28, 2026.

He was born on March 27, 1963 in Cowpens to Donald E. Johnson, Sr. and Garie Blanton Johnson. He had worked as a sign painter. Bobby loved spending time with his dogs and riding motorcycles and enjoyed being a part of “The Shop” Motorcycle Club.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Justin Johnson (Victoria); his parents, Donald E. Johnson (Jo) and Garie B. Johnson Beal (Steve); his brother, Donald E. Johnson, Jr. (Christy); and his step-sister, Dr. Amanda Ewing.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 3, 2026 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Cannon’s Camp Ground United Methodist Church.

A funeral service will follow at 2:00pm on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Cannon’s Camp Ground United Methodist Church with Rev. Miriam Mick and Rev. Don Johnson, Jr. to officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to “The Shop,” 521 New Cut Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
