Mrs. Suzanne Jean Wanser, age 77 of Greenville, passed away on Sunday evening, April 19, 2026 at Reedy River Post Acute Care.
She was born on May 14, 1948 in New York to the late Joseph and Helen Henderson Klee. She had been a commercial truck driver for most of her life. She enjoyed crafting and making things. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wanser was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Kline; two brothers, Brian and Scott Klee; and her grandson, David Mitchem.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Eileen Spain (Jerry) and Kelly Mitchem (Chris); her eight grandchildren, Chris Wanser, Peter Vitale, Charles Smith, Amber Hames, Nova Spain, Philip Wanser, Nicole Mitchem, and Sean Mitchem; and her four great-grandchildren, Ryan Wanser, Barry Hames, Mason Vitale, and Abby Smith.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 2:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
