Troy "Steven" Steven Turner Obituary

Mr. Troy Steven “Steve” Turner, age 72 of Boiling Springs, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024 at his residence following an extended illness.


He was born on July 1, 1951 in Spartanburg to the late Frank Randolph and Virginia Croxdale Turner. He had worked with Daniels Construction as a welder and was a diehard Clemson football fan. Steve loved to fish, he loved sports, and was a “simple” man. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Turner; and one sister, Patricia Whitt.


Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Martha “Tootsie” Turner; two daughters, Stacie Cheryl Turner (who was also his caregiver) and Nicole Wills; one sister, Rachel Hopper; one brother, Dennis Turner (Beverly); one grandson, Rich Wills; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Mr. Turner will be cremated and no formal services will be held.
